Another name that can be associated with the church is Malankara Syrian Catholic Church of India.

Our Church is built on the principles and teaching of the Universal Catholic Church, carrying forward the vision of the Malankara Catholic Church reunion movement started by the Servant of God, late-Archbishop Geevarghese Mar Ivanios. Our Church's roots has stretched to the four corners of the earth becuase of the prayers and leadership of our late Fathers and the light that continue to shine in His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselio Cleemis Catholicos, the Successor of the Apostolic See of St. Thomas the Apostle in India.

The Malankara Catholic Church continues to grow in North America because of the guidance of His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Philipos Mar Stephanos.
